Martin Swiss Sales and Service Policies

 

ONLINE CATALOG POLICIES:

Online Catalog prices do not include sales taxes.

All bikes are for sale in-store only. Martin’s Swiss does not sell bicycles online.

IN-STORE POLICIES:

SALE and RETURN POLICY

Martin Swiss Cycles will refund purchases returned within 30 days with a proof of purchase, and providing that products are returned in their original packaging.

Bicycles may be returned for exchange within seven days, providing that they have not been ridden and are in the same condition as at the time of sale.

All sales are final on bicycle forks, components and bicycle accessories that have been modified for installation.

All sales of cycling shorts are final.

All sales of special-order and clearance-priced items are final.

Martin Swiss Cycles provides free basic adjustments (labour only) on new bikes for a period of one year from the date of purchase. Customers are entitled to one free dry tune-up (parts and washing extra) within one year of the date of purchase of a new bike.

All purchases of new bikes include a complete fitting.

LAY-AWAY POLICY

In order to make a lay-away purchase, customers must leave a deposit of 20% of the total bill, including taxes.

Customers must make minimum monthly payments of 20% of the total bill.

Any lay-away bicycle that has not been paid in full after six months will be considered abandoned and the property of Martin Swiss Cycles.

SERVICE POLICY

Martin Swiss Cycles reserves the right to refuse to perform service.

We require a deposit for major repairs.

Final service costs may exceed initial estimates.

We are not responsible for parts availability.

We will only contact the customer in the event that actual service costs substantially exceed initial estimates.

Bicycles must be picked-up within fourteen days of the completion of repairs and service.

Bicycles that have not been picked-up 30 days after the completion of repairs will be subject to a $20/week storage fee, unless other arrangements have been made with Martin Swiss Cycles. Bicycles that have not been picked-up within six months of the completion of repairs will be considered abandoned and the property of Martin Swiss Cycles.
